Terland scoops monthly awards

Elisabeth Terland has been rewarded for her goalscoring exploits in August by landing both of our monthly awards.
The Manchester United Women striker is our first Player of the Month of the season, in association with Estee Lauder, and also picked up the Goal of the Month accolade too.
A brilliant hat-trick in the 4-0 triumph over PSV Eindhoven in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers in Stockholm was a clear highlight, while the Norway international also netted the only goal in the next round, against Hammarby.
Such key contributions were never going to be overlooked and she is a deserving winner.

Hinata Miyazaka has been excellent in a deeper midfield role, performing well in both European ties, and finished in second spot.
Summer signing Julia Zigiotti Olme, who has quickly settled into the side, came third.
Elisabeth’s treble-clinching strike in the win at PSV was judged better than her second and opener on the day, despite all three goals garnering lots of votes.
Well done to Teri, and best of luck for Sunday’s first WSL game of the term, against Leicester City.
