Ruben Amorim named a 32-member squad for Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the United States.
It will be the first chance for fans to see Bryan Mbeumo wear the famous red jersey, with the Cameroonian set to travel.
Fellow new signings Matheus Cunha, and Diego Leon are also set to travel as announced by the club.
Surprisingly, Harry Maguire was not in the list, with the England international dropping out due to personal reasons. There is hope he can rejoin his teammates later in the tour.
Maguire misses out Also among the notable absentees are the four remaining members of the “bomb squad” — Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho.
All four are likely to depart the club on a permanent basis.
Quite a few academy stars will be making the journey across the Atlantic, including Will Murdock in goal, who joined the squad after Elyh Harrison left on loan to Shrewsbury.
Reece Munro, Jack Fletcher, Sekou Kone, and Bendito Mantato are also travelling alongside Ethan Williams, who has been linked with a loan exit.
United will take part in the Premier Leagues Summer Series for the first time, with matches against league opponents West Ham United, Bournemouth, and Everton all lined up.
PL Summer Series games Uniteds first of three fixtures is against the Hammers and it will be played in New Jerseys MetLife Stadium on July 26. Their next game is against Bournemouth at Soldier Field, Chicago four days later.
The final game will be against Everton at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on August 3. It will be Uniteds first-ever game in the US state of Georgia.
