Manchester United are yet to make a significant sale this summer with the clubs major squad overhaul still in its infancy.
Five players are close to the exit door and have already informed the Red Devils that they want to leave, but no deals have been concluded to make their wishes a reality so far.
Jadon Sancho, Antony, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho are all eager to quit Old Trafford, meaning Ruben Amorim will need more than just the signing of Matheus Cunha to balance his attacking options for next season.
Defender Tyrell Malacia has also expressed his desire to leave.
Sancho to Juventus Of all of the wantaway wingers none are as estranged as Sancho, who after falling out with Erik ten Hag spent last season on loan at Chelsea.
The Blues opted to pay 5m to swerve the obligation to buy that the deal contained, landing the 25-year-old back at Old Trafford with no route into Amorim’s plans.
Since his return to Manchester, the Englishman has been a major target for Serie A giants Juventus. The Turin club are even believed to have offered midfielder Douglas Luiz as a makeweight to sweeten the deal.
Juves alternative target At the same time as exploring a move for Sancho, Juventus have also been weighing up a deal to keep Francisco Conceicao at the Allianz Stadium after he spent last season there on loan from Porto.
It was reported last month that the Portuguese is Igor Tudors primary target and Sancho is just a fallback option should the Old Lady fail to keep hold of Conceicao.
Good news for United However, in a welcome boost for United reports in Portugal now claim that Juventus have not made any offers for Conceicao.
This comes despite persistent rumours that they were looking to undercut the players 30m release clause with a 22m bid, which would indicate that they are more likely to swoop for Sancho.
Whats more, A Bola claim, from 15 July the Portugueses release clause increases to 45m putting Conceicao in an entirely different price bracket to Uniteds exiled Englishman.
All in all todays update from the Portuguese outlet indicates that Sancho is Juves priority which, taken alongside a bold claim earlier this week that a deal has in fact already been completed, is very good news for the Red Devils.
